Snowboarding skill levels

I have never been snowboarding.

I am able to stand and slide on a snowboard, but I cannot make turns.

I can make turns but this is sometimes difficult. I am comfortable on green (easy) slopes.

I know how to turn easily going both directions and I am comfortable on blue slopes (intermediate)

I have never gone downhill skiiing.

I know how to carve and how to take a chairlift.

I know how to carve and can sometimes parallel ski. I am comfortable on green (easy) slopes.

I know how to parallel ski and I am comfortable on blue (intermediate) slopes.
