an exemplary code of conduct

At Vorlage Center, we demand an exemplary code of conduct for everyone’s safety!

We’ve designed our trails to ensure a smooth, trouble-free ride. We strongly recommend that you are comfortable maneuvering on the green trails before venturing onto the blue and black trails. See trail difficulty and suggested approach.

good cycling practices

From the vélo québec website
Mountain biking involves the risk of serious or fatal injury. To reduce these risks :
1
You must always ride in control, while respecting your limits. You must always be able to stop and avoid any person or obstacle. Stay on the trails and modules that best suit your abilities. You are responsible for informing yourself about the levels of difficulty and choosing trails accordingly.
2
Wear a helmet and protective equipment appropriate to your riding style.
3
Before every ride, check the condition of your bike or have it inspected by a professional mechanic. Make sure the rest of your equipment – helmet, shoes, etc. – is in good condition.
4
Respect each other! It’s important not to ride when you’re physically incapacitated, tired or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
5
Since trail conditions can vary, check their condition (hyperlink to be added) before riding with confidence.
6
Respect the signs. Always ride on marked trails and never ride in closed sections.
7
If you have to stop, do so by clearing the runway in a safe and visible place.
8
You must always ride in control, while respecting your limits. You must always leave space to stop and avoid any person or obstacle. Stay on the trails and modules that best suit your abilities. You are responsible for informing yourself about the levels of difficulty and choosing trails accordingly.
9
Be vigilant and ready to help rescue workers if necessary. If you are involved in or witness an accident, remain at the scene, identifying yourself to rescue workers or other bystanders.
10
Please observe the posted rules for using our chairlifts. Don’t hesitate to ask the attendants if you’re unfamiliar with how they work, whether you’re boarding your bike, going up or arriving at the top.
11
Cleanliness and the environment are our priorities. The earth is not a trash bin. Out of respect for nature, cyclists and our facilities, do not leave any garbage on the site. If we catch you, we’ll be sure you learn the lesson.😉

The Center offers accessible sanitary facilities. Please keep them as clean as possible.
