Centre Vorlage wants to promote and help its community by fostering the Outaouais region’s tourism industry, while stimulating Wakefield’s economic development. To this end, the Centre has created partnerships with other activity and event promoters in the region, and plans to continue to organize sporting and national events.

The Canadian Shield Bikepacking Summit is an opportunity for bikepackers to gather with like-minded people and share in their passion for adventure, riding bikes and spending time in the wilderness. This weekend event will include group rides, bikepacking related presentations, a chance to make new friends and door prizes.

Come celebrate World Telemark Day (WTD) at Centre Vorlage in Wakefield, QC on Saturday, March 2nd! What is WTD? It’s a day to celebrate the freeheel turn! Telemark skiers are invited to come together to share some turns, make new friends, and generally enjoy getting out on the snow at Wakefield’s outdoor playground – Centre Vorlage!

On October 8, the family event BougeBouge Covered Bridge Run: The first-ever collaboration between Wakefield, a sector of the Municipality of La Pêche, and the non-profit organization BougeBouge. Discover the wonderful covered bridge and Gatineau Park. On different courses, you can challenge yourself for 3km, 5km, 10km or 21.1km! It’s the ideal event to get moving with family and friends! The start and finish of this race will be directly at the Centre Vorlage.

On September 29-30 and October 1, 2023, the Vorlage Bike Fest will be held in collaboration with Gravelle des Collines on the same dates. The official opening of the bike park at Vorlage, the Bike Fest will feature a wide range of activities, from mountain biking to exhibitor booths and a gravel bike race powered by Les Nomades du Parc. The Gravelle des Collines is two epic routes that start and finish at the base of Vorlage mountain: the Paugan (110 km 1371m D+) & the Riverside (79 km 1070m D+). Both routes are mostly on gravel roads through the Gatineau River, backcountry roads, the Paugan dam and not forgetting the Draveur cycle route. Departures are from the Vorlage center in Wakefield, Outaouais.
