Ski and Snowboard Teacher Assistant

Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Ski and Snowboard Teacher Assistant to join our team at Centre Vorlage. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about skiing or snowboarding and enjoy working with people, especially children and beginners. As a Teacher Assistant, you will support our instructors in providing a safe, fun, and educational experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in delivering lessons to students of varying skill levels, from beginners to intermediate.
• Help set up and take down teaching aids and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized learning environment.
• Provide encouragement and support to students, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.
• Monitor students’ progress and provide feedback to instructors on their development.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and assist with any emergency situations as necessary.
• Help manage groups of students, ensuring they stay together and are engaged during lessons.
• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance teaching techniques and safety practices.
• Maintain equipment and assist with inventory management as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong skiing or snowboarding ability and a passion for the sport.
• Previous experience in teaching, coaching, or working with children is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and take direction from instructors.
• Knowledge of skiing and snowboarding safety and protocols.
• Must be able to lift and carry ski or snowboard equipment.
